In 2021, Classic Concerts Trust commenced a new partnership with the Georg Solti Accademia, run by colleagues of the team behind the New Generation Festival, and we look forward to the further development of this relationship in support of emerging talent.
The Georg Solti Accademia offers highly sought-after immersive training experiences for young opera singers and répétiteurs at the start of their careers. Created in 2004 to honour the memory of the late famous maestro Sir Georg Solti, the Solti Accademia has become one of the most successful and recognised training programmes for young operatic professionals in the world. A core part of the Accademia’s philosophy is to raise the funds required to allow its artists to train for free, ensuring that the organisation can offer its training to the very best young musicians each year regardless of their financial status or nationality.
